Hike Habit
Getting out in nature with other people who are also grieving, even just for a few hours, helps you make meaningful connections with others and with the rhythms of nature. Making it a habit is an even more powerful way to navigate your path toward healing and peace.
At Wild Grief, we gather on the fourth Sunday of every month for a 2-hour hike, simply to be together in wild spaces. Anyone in the Wild Grief community is welcome.
Join us at 11:00 a.m. for a brief greeting before we hit the trail. Each hike is easy to moderate in difficulty and is designed to be manageable for as many people as possible. Choose substantial footwear that will keep you dry on muddy or wet trails. Each hike is attended by a Wild Grief facilitator trained in grief support, leading hikes, and first aid.
Who: Community. All ages welcome. Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please leave pets at home. Trained service animals welcome.
When: Every fourth Sunday at 11:00 a.m. PST.
What: 2-hour monthly hikes.
