Fall Family Journey (Virtual)

WG Family Program Image.png

For families who have lost a loved one, this is an opportunity to connect more deeply and intentionally as a family to process your grief. Each week during this six week program, you will engage in creative activities and go on a hike with your family, as well as coming together for an online peer support group with other grieving families and skilled guides.

During the weekly peer support meetings, we will have activities and conversations about grief and how it impacts your family. You will be connected with peers who have had people die and so you will not have to explain yourself. We believe the best support you can have is each other. You will also be with leaders who have skills and experience in connecting with nature and who also have their own grief stories.

This program is free and open to any family who has lost a loved one. It will be geared toward families with kids under 13, but all ages are welcome. Families receive a big box of supplies for the program, including a Washington State Discover Pass. We can also help pay for gear to help your family get outdoors, such as shoes or raingear. We are excited that because this program is all remote and virtual, participants can join from anywhere. We are based in Washington State, so all program times listed are in Pacific Time.
