Family Journey Camp Out
A weekend guided camp out for families with children under 13 who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. All food, camping gear, and camping fees are provided at no cost. Families will have fun together on hikes and in games, connect with other grieving families, and learn skills and ways to be with each other ongoing through the loss. There will be opportunities to process grief through conversations, creative activities, and nature connection together as a family as well as in peer groups.

What: A 3-day weekend camp-out
When: Friday, July 29-Sunday, July 31
Where: Lewis & Clark State Park Group Camp, 40 minutes south of Olympia, WA
How Much: No Charge. All camping gear, food, and camping fees provided.

COVID Policy: We are requiring all guides and participants aged 5+ on this trip to be fully vaccinated. Families who can’t or don’t want to get the vaccine can participate in one of our All Ages Day Hikes or monthly Hike Habit. Read our full COVID Policies here.
