Join us at Priest Point Park as we explore nature’s beauty along Ellis Cove Trail. This 1.5 mile loop trail often offers shorebird sightings and is great for all hiking levels and ages.
Every grief hike begins with an opening circle, an acknowledgement of who is here and who we are carrying in our hearts. Then we walk in silence for 10 minutes. After our silent time, the group morphs and changes, small groupings or solitary walkers. Conversations can be deep or light, mixing the here and now with our shut away places. We know each of us is somewhere in their grief journey and all are welcome. We end with a closing circle.
Registration is required. We will cap participation at 14 and our COVID Safety Policy will be in place for this hike.
We will meet at the trail entrance of Ellis Cove Trail on East Bay Drive, on the west side of Priest Point Park. Driving from Olympia, come into Priest Point Park, crossing the bridge to the west side of the park. A parking lot is on the right, just after crossing the bridge. See the map below.
